We would like to extend our congratulations to karkar99 who is our first lucky Webkinz Insider member to adopt the new Undercover Cat. Meet Cuvvie Kitty who is pictured here with her PSI, the Master of Disguise Closet. The PSF for this secretive feline is Disguise Pops.

There is a new Marshmallow Collection Event in Webkinz World for the month of July! Starting today, July 1st, 2014, visit your room in Webkinz World and click on the Marshmallow Collection Event icon. Each day you will receive 1 free marshmallow and you will be able to ask 10 friends to send you a marshmallow. You can collect up to 5 marshmallows a day! Along the way you will receive cool camp themed prizes including the CampKinz BackPack, the CampKinz Counselor Outfit, the Campkinz Library Bookshelf and the Canoe Counch. Once you have collected all 50 marshmallows you will receive the grand prize - the CampKinz Lantern Tree!
 
This event will run from July 1st until July 31st, 2014! Please visit our WIKI to learn all about the Collection Events in Webkinz World!
 
Also, on Webkinz Newz there is a Marshmallow Floaty Clicky! Simply search Webkinz Newz each day for the floating marshmallow, click on it, fill in the required fields and a marshmallow will be add to your collection in Webkinz World! Webkinz Newz Announces #OneWebkinzWorld Contest

 Webkinz Newz recently announced a new contest running from July 3rd to July 31st. This contest will require members to use various platforms of Social Media to earn points, and collect prizes for the entire Webkinz Community.
 
Members who are registered (with parent permission) on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, or Instagram, are encouraged to create fun pictures and videos of their webkinz plush toys and share them on these social platforms in order to earn points.  These images and videos must include:  A tag on the official Webkinz social media accounts using @Webkinz, include the provided banner image, and include the hashtag #OneWebkinzWorld. Additionally, pictures must feature one pet at a time (no group plush pictures). Members are, however, able to enter as many pictures/videos as they would like to create.
 
Those who are uncomfortable using social media, or who do not have permission of their parents, may participate in challenges released on WebkinzNewz.com.  These challenges will unlock points towards the many rewards available at the end of the contest.  Keep an eye on Webkinz Newz for information on these challenges as they are released.
 
 
At the end of the Contest Period (July 31st, 2014), the points will be tallied and unlock special rewards for all members of the Webkinz Community.  Each photo or video shared will count as one point on each platform shared, there is no word on how many points the challenges will reward when completed.  For further information on the rules and regulations of the #OneWebkinzWorld contest, please visit Webkinz Newz.

Dragon Queen Robe Retiring from the Kinzville Mall on July 16th, 2014

Start your engines and head on over to the SPREE game! Ganz has announced that the Dragon Queen Robe is set to retire from the Kinzville Mall! As of July 16th, 2014 the regal Dragon Queen Robe will no longer be available to Webkinz Players. Once this items has been removed the only way you will be able to get one is through trading so if you do not want to miss out then get shopping.
 
SPREE can be found in the Todays Activities menu and also in the Arcade. Webkinz players receive two rolls each day to help them race to the mall. The Dragon Queen Robe can be purchased for 400 credits.

Pink Cockatoo retires on July 13th, 2014

It is time to say so long to the Pink Cockatoo. The Pink Cockatoo plush is officially sold out at the Ganz Warehouse and no more will ever be made! We first welcomed the Pink Cockatoo to Webkinz World in October 2009 and now it is time for it's retirement party! If you are the lucky owner of a Pink Cockatoo then make sure you stop by Todays Activities in Webkinz World on July 12th and July 13th. On July 12th all Pink Cockatoo owners will be able to participate in a game of Count the Sailboats. On July 13th all Pink Cockatoo owners will receive a Wish Token.
 
 
The PSI for the Pink Cockatoo is the Birdbath Spa. The PSF for this pet is Peckish Pink Icy.

We have just learned that we have three new SPREE prizes to look forward to! With the impending retirement of the Dragon Queen Robe Ganz has decided to introduce three new prizes to the SPREE game. Set to arrive on July 16th in the Kinzville Mall are Cinder Plushy, Majestic Mirror and the Gold Leaf Wardrobe! You will be able to purchase these new SPREE items by collecting mall credits in the SPREE game found in the Webkinz World Arcade! You need to make your way through the SPREE game board before you can visit the mall and spend your credits!

Bushbaby Retires on July 20th, 2014

This weekend, July 19th and July 20th we will be saying a final farewell to the Webkinz Bushbaby. The Webkinz Bushbaby arrived in Webkinz World in January 2011 and has now completely sold out at the Ganz Warehouse.
 
 
The PSI for the Bushbaby is the Super Secret Safe. The PSF for this pet is Butterscoth Beetles - yummy!
 
All Webkinz Bushbaby owners will be able to enjoy a retirement party this weekend. On Saturday, July 19th, Bushbaby owners can visit today's activities and participate in a game of Count the Sailboats. On Sunday, July 20th Bushbaby owners will receive a FREE Nibbles Plushie.

Our next sneak peek is of the outgoing Ribbon Iguana! This pet loves going places in their PSI, the Pretty in Pink Convertible! When hunger strikes this pet, they always turn to their PSF, the Sparkling Strawberry Sundae. This pet will arrive in stores this August 2014.
 
The next pet we would like to introduce is the Bubblegum Mammoth! This gentle giant is a friendly fellow who loves to socialize on their PSI, the Super Sticky Sofa. The PSF for this pet is tasty Bubblegum Sundae. Stay tuned and we will let you know how you can get your hands on this virtual pet!

Spree Peek-A-Newz Challenge on Webkinz Newz and Floating Dice in Webkinz World

Hurry on over to Webkinz Newz to participate in the SPREE Peek-A-Newz Challenge. This new challenge gives you the chance to build your own SPREE themed road in Webkinz World, complete with signs. Simply visit Webkinz Newz, go to Contests and look under Events. Find the SPREE Peek-A-Newz Challenge and select "Enter Campaign". Next search Webkinz Newz until you have located Elwin 5 times, fill in the required fields and a SPREE related prize will be added to your Webkinz World account. This SPREE Peek-A-Newz Challenge runs from now until July 27th at 23:59:59 PM EST. There is a limit on one prize per Webkinz World account per day!
 
Are you feeling lucky? Then you want to roll as many times as possible so be on the look out in Webkinz World for the floating SPREE dice. Click on the SPREE dice and a bonus roll will be added to your game of SPREE. These SPREE dice will be floating from July 19 until July 27th, 2014. There is a limit of 1 bonus SPREE roll per Webkinz World account per day.

Wacky Zingoz Celebration starts Friday, August 1st, 2014

Be prepared to become "Wackified" because this Friday, August 1st, 2014 marks the return of the Wacky Zingoz Celebration!!
 
Starting Friday, Webkinz Insider members will start seeing floating Wacky's in Webkinz World. Click on the floating Wacky and a random WackyER Zingoz prize will be added to your Webkinz World account. There will be new WackyER prizes such as the WackyER Zingoz Baseball Skirt and the WackyER Wallpaper and Flooring, as well as some returning favourites, including the WackyER Zingoz Baseball Cap. This Wacky Zingoz Celebration will run until Sun., August 10th, 2014.
 
There will also be a new Wacky Zingoz Celebration challenge. This challenge will run from Friday, August 1st, 2014 until Sunday, August 31st, 2014. Look for the challenge icon in your Webkinz World room and get started. There are some great prizes to be won when you have finished all of the tasks. Pictured below are the Wacky Wind-up Toy, the Wacky Trophy Pedestal and the Wacky Bunch of Balloons.
 
 
 
What better trophy to put on your new Wacky Trophy Pedestal than the NEW Master Blaster 600 Trophy? Yes, there is going to be a NEW trophy awarded each time you manage to hit Wacky 600 feet or further in Wacky Zingoz! Webkinz Friends and Tail Town Friends Applications to shut down on August 31st 2014

Ganz has announced that the Webkinz Friends and Tail Towns Friends Applications will be shutting down on August 31st, 2014.  This closure will affect both the Facebook and iPad versions of the game. While the application was popular with Webkinz Insider members, the application never found a large audience on Facebook or through the App store. Due to the lack of audience the development team experienced limitations in their "ability to add new content and give the game the attention it deserved."
 
As of Today (July 29th, 2014), Webkinz Friends & Tail Town Friends will no longer allow new players to sign up to play via Facebook or the App store.  All payments have also been suspended due to the pending shut down.  Current players, however, will be able to play as much as they desire as the energy requirements will be removed from the game.
 
The prizes exclusive to Webkinz Friends will be added in due time to Webkinz World, to ensure that all members have the opportunity to enjoy them.
