Visit Webkinz Newz, go to the "Contests" page and look under events. Find the Beach Peek-A-Newz Challenge and select "Enter Campaign". Search Webkinz Newz for Hailey. Once you have spotted Hailey five times, fill in the required fields and a Beach Accessory will be added to your Webkinz World account. We have a very unusual announcement - Webkinz Insider member spotharris has adopted an unannounced, seemingly unreleased Webkinz pet - the Doodle Fabdoodle. Pictured here is LeTweet, posing with her PSI, the ColorFul Costume Trunk. This trunk will hold six items. The PSF for this pet is Snickerfadoodles.

 

We are unsure as to why a certain on-line retailer has released this pet before anyone else or exactly how or when it will be available at all the other retailers. We do know that spotharris had to wait sometime after purchase before being able to actually adopt this pet. Congratulations spotharris on this very unusual find!

Thanks to the two hints provided during the #OneWebkinzWorld bonus challenges, WI member Starburst1425 for sharing the Neon Tutu recipe!  According to Starburst1425, this Recipe calls for Pink Cowgirl Boots (Friday's #Onewebkinzworld hint), Fall Floral Skirt (Saturday's #Onewebkinzworld hint), and the Thick Knit Sweater. There is a new Toadstool Theme Peek-A-Newz Challenge on Webkinz Newz featuring items from the new Toadstool Theme. Stop by Webkinz Newz and visit the Contests : Events section. Select "Enter Campaign" for the Toadstool Theme Peek-A-Newz Challenge then hunt around for Elwin. Once you have found Elwin five times fill in the required fields and a piece of the new Toadstool Theme will be added to your account. There is a limit of one prize per Webkinz World account per day!

 

Also on Webkinz Newz you will find the Cave Explorer Floaty Clicky. Simply watch for the floating Roberta, click on her, fill in the required fields and a piece of the Cave Explorer outfit will be added to your Webkinz World account! Webkinz Newz has announced that as of September 17th the Fruitland Theme will be removed from the W-Shop. Although the theme will return to the W-Shop next summer you never know which items will disappear so if you are still collecting the Fruitland Theme then be sure to visit the W-Shop BEFORE September 17th to stock up!

 

Also on September 17th the Classroom Theme will be returning to the W-Shop with 3 exciting new items! The Classroom Theme (School Theme) was removed from the W-Shop in January 2014 with the warning that NOT all of the items would be returning!

It seems that Ganz will be releasing new pets this September "When Pigs Fly"!!

Calling all WI members!  In celebration of the end of summer, your fellow users are looking to break the most online record. This season has been an exciting time for our WIki and member contributons.  Our WIGEV team has been hard at work updating the trading values for items throughout Webkinz World. While elsewhere on the WIki members have been updating the full list of webkinz pets and picture gallery (which is now open for all members to update).

 

In our continued efforts to get members involved in our WIki project, our WIki Sysop team has opened a brand new contest to teach members how to edit, upload, and add images to the WIki. This contest will challenge members to create Autumn Themed webkinz banners for the Webkinzinsider.com WIki, and upload them to their personal WIki user page. Members must feature the Webkinzinsider.com WIki text and Webkinz images within their design (transparent WIki text can be found HERE). Instructions on how to edit the banner to the proper size, and how to upload the image to the proper WIki location, can be found HERE. 

 

This contest will run until September 14th at 11:59pm US Kinz Time.  Once uploaded properly, a link to your entries must be posted on our contest thread located HERE.  Please our official entry thread for full details of rules of regulations. Three winning banners will be selected to be featured on the WIki starting September 23rd (2014).

 

This is a great opportunity to test your WIki knowledge, and challenge your artistic nature!  Best of luck to all of our members who choose to enter.  Happy editing!

This weekend, WI member StLouisCutie184 shared information of a new superbed released in Webkinz World.  The new Construction Plans Bed can be placed in any indoor room, but members have reported it is unable to be placed in an outdoor room.

 

This is the first superbed to be released this year. Three superbeds were added in 2013: the Waffle Iron Bed, Take Flight Bed, and Chocolate Bar Bed.

 

As we have seen in the past, the introduction of a new superbed also led to the retirement of an old favourite.  The Daredevil superbed was officially retired on August 29th, 2014. If you are a fan of this superbed you may want to hang on to it, as it is no longer available through the Super Bed Boxes!

Webkinz has recently updated their Free Account program for new webkinz users. Previously, any user who opened a new free account could adopt the Webkinz Mutt or Domestic Cat. With this new update any user who opens a brand new Webkinz account will be able to select one of nine eStore pets to adopt. The nine eStore pets include: The Pink Zebra, Ice Fawn, Leonberger, Afghan Hound, Floppy Eared Bunny, Marshmallow Chipmunk, Sun Fox, Wolf, and Cotton Top Tamarin.  

 

Members may be interested to know that previously Pink Zebra has only been availble through an eStore promotion. Furthermore, the Ice Fawn is a seasonal winter pet and only available once a year (providing it is released by the eStore).  The Leonberger, Afghan Hound, Floppy Eared Bunny, Marshmallow Chipmunk, Sun Fox, Wolf, and Cotton Top Tamerin are all virtual pets and available to purchase by members exclusively through the eStore (note that some may not be currently available as the pet selection rotates through the year).

 

New users who create Free Accounts are limited in their participation throughout Webkinz World. These accounts are unable to access Kinzpost, the trading room, the items they can purchase, how many rooms they can create, and more.  Members can remove these limitations through the purchase and adoption of any other Webkinz pet, or the purchase of a deluxe membership through the eStore.

This summer, Webkinz members witnessed a large amount of Webkinz Pet retirements by Ganz. The large retirement event were introduced in order to update the large catalog of current Webkinz.  Following the multiple retirements, Webkinz Newz announced that it would be retiring a new pet each month as opposed to retiring a pet each week. 

 

Webkinz Newz has now announced that the Panda will be the first pet to retire during this new program.  Webkinz members who adopt this pet in September, or who current own the Panda, will have the opportunity to play Counting Sailboats every sunday in order to earn exclusive items.  On the last Sunday of the month, members will also earn a special retirement box with an exclusive item (the contents of this box is to be announced on September 8th by Webkinz Newz).

Congratulations to WebkinzInsider member adrib on the adoption of Ariana the Colorblock Kitty.  Adrib first brought Webkinz Insider the news of this new pet on on September 23rd when the stuffed pet arrived in the mail.  On October 6th, the programming was finally in the system and she was able to add the pet to her Webkinz account.

 

The Colorblock Kitty has a PSI of Building Blocks Toy Box and the PSF is Sweet Striped Fudge.
